Daeva, hold a second! Heading for the Eracus Temple Cavern?

Well, I have a strong suggestion when you do. Marana, Elysea's best Flight Instructor, guards the entrance to the Eracus Temple Cavern.

It's no boast. Sanctum officially certified her. She can teach you things about flight known nowhere else.

• "Really?"

The problem is, Marana's very particular about her students. She only accepts students of exceptional skill.

I think you qualify. You willing to try?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Hunt the Crouching Eracus Gargoyles of Eracus Temple Cavern and take Marana 10 of their Black Stones. Even Marana will concede you've got promise.

It's a tough challenge. First, it is difficult to find Crouching Eracus Gargoyles among the stones.

Also, there are several towers and time is limited. And of course the Gargoyles swarm upon all intruders. So...be careful.

• "That's an understatement."

In order to get Flight Instructor Marana to teach you, you must show ability. Gather Black Stones from Crouching Eracus Gargoyles to prove your talent.

You must be the 'outstanding' Daeva Castor described.

He speaks quite highly of you. Let's see how you measure up.

Did you bring the Black Stones?

• "Here."

Castor could write an opera singing your praises, but you get no training without proof.

Show me you can fly, Daeva.

Bring me 10 Black Stones and I'll...consider you.

• "Hmph. Consider this!"

Since you have harvested the Black Stones, you have at least the basic skills of flight.

You have some promise.

Yes, I'll teach you. We'll speak again when you want your first lesson.

Castor advised you to learn from Marana, a Flight Instructor in Eracus Temple Cavern.

Following his directions, you defeated Crouching Eracus Gargoyles and took Black Stones to Marana to prove yourself. She agreed to instruct you.
