How do you like it here, Daeva?

It seems a bit off somehow, and different, don’t you think?

The research into the Auridion that the Tiamat Legion gathered is said to be responsible for this phenomenon.

There’s nothing we haven’t tried in order to uncover the secrets of this research.

And we’ve finally discovered where it’s being carried out.

• ‘Where is that?’

In the darkest depths lies an ancient sanctuary, that’s where the research into Auridion is underway.

But we’ve lost contact with the investigators who sent us the latest information.

Their report said that crazy laughter and strange noises were coming from the depths.

We’d like to send some capable Daeva’s down there and find out what’s going on.

This will be no easy task, Daeva.

Do you still want to go?

• Accept
• Decline

According to the inspectors, there’s an ancient sanctuary called Phaestos’ Disc deep in the depths.

Find out what’s going on there and who’s primarily responsible.

Please take your comrades with you on this dangerous mission.

• You end the conversation.

Gather information about the Balaur’s research in the secret sanctuary, and find those responsible.

Respect to you for making it this far.

If I had a little more time and money, you’d be lying here instead of them.

• ‘But... aren’t you a Daeva?’

Hehe, you want to know why a Daeva is working on the Balaur’s side, don’t you?

Under the rule of weak and naive masters, I couldn’t pursue my research as I wished.

Ethics, morality, justice... They’re under the thumb of these useless rules, ignoring the immense power.

Auridion... If I can acquire Siel’s power, I will gain incredible knowledge that you can’t even dream of.

• ‘Your research ends here!’

What do you mean, ends?

Hahahaha, how thick you are.

Do you really think victory is yours just because you’ve destroyed Unstable Phaestos?

This was just the start! The fruits of my research will extend to every corner of the world, hehehehe.

• You end the conversation.

How did it go, Daeva?

Did you learn anything about the Tiamat Legion’s research?

What did you see at Phaestos’ Disc?

Who ordered this research?

• You say that it was a Daeva by the name of Radan.

Radan... I’ve heard that name before.

The deputy Brigade General also built and led the artefact base in Gelkmaros.

Hm, I’ll speak frankly. He’s a renegade Daeva from Asmodae.

He was a capable scientist. But he was after Siel’s power and conducted forbidden research, which led to him being exiled.

We ought to find out what he’s up to with the Balaur.

Anyway, I’m very glad that you’ve returned safely from this dangerous mission.

It’s nice to know that a Daeva as competent as you is on our side.

Captain Xythei said that the Balaur have been collecting Auridion in an ancient sanctuary. He asked you to head over there and find out the reason for the research and who’s responsible.

When you got to Phaestos’ Disc, you were attacked by the formidable weapon, Unstable Phaestos.

You destroyed Unstable Phaestos and spoke to Radan, who was operating the weapon. You found out that he was a renegade Daeva leading the research.

You then reported to Xythei and he rewarded you for the information.
