I am the fourth generation of my family to be the Protector of the Holy Tree, Dalia.

I am also the first to fail at that sacred duty to the mighty Elim, thanks to the Balaur.

My shame and guilt threaten to consume me. Please, I must beg for your aid in helping the Holy Tree!

• Accept.
• Decline.

You have my gratitude, Elyos. I could feel the Balaur's twisting the Holy Tree towards evil.

He is now known as Dalia Charlands, and his corrupted roots bind the other Elim.

If we are to reclaim the forest, we must start there. Destroy the contaminated roots that bind the Elim.

• "You have nothing to fear."

Remove Blighted Dalia Roots from Elim in the Drana Esoterrace, and report to Rothyns, the Protector of the Holy Tree.

They say we were all one people once: Reian, Elyos, and even Asmodian.

In a way, we still are. Despite our differences, we all have a single purpose in common: defeating the Balaur.

As such, I hope it's not impudent to request your time and strength.

• "What is it you need?"

I heard it! I heard the Holy Tree's voice! I know I did!

Ever since his corruption at the Balaur's hands, all I've heard is cold, bitter silence.

But I heard the merest whisper of him, for the first time in ages! Does that mean...?

• "The roots have been cut."

I knew it! I knew it was him! Freeing the other Elim must've stirred something within him!

Now...now I can wait in serenity. For I know that no matter what happens, Dalia will thrive again.

As long as one splinter of him remains, he will regrow strong. You have my eternal gratitude, good Elyos.

Rothyns introduced herself as the Protector of the Holy Tree, the Esoterrace Elim named Dalia. Then she asked for your help.

You removed Blighted Dalia Roots from other Elim. Rothyns was very grateful for your aid.
