Paios is a brilliant soldier with a promising future ahead of him.

As well as being an excellent fighter, he has an impeccable character.

We can’t lose such a talented comrade.

To that end, would you go back to Rentus Outpost and look for Paios?

• Accept
• Decline

The attack happened shortly after Paios and Rodelion had finished their watch. So he must be somewhere in the Living Quarters.

I worry that something might have happened to him.

It would be a real shame...

Please find Paios for me. I’d be very grateful for your help.

• You end the conversation.

Support has finally... arrived.

Please... recapture the... post...

• You try to help him.

You promised to find Paios in Rentus Outpost and rescue him.

I’m very grateful to you for saving Rodelion. But something else is weighing heavily on my heart.

We thought Paios had been freed along with Rodelion.

But Paios is missing.

• You ask who Paios is.

I've been waiting for you.

Where is Paios?

Did you get away together?

• "I'm sorry..."

Is... that true?

Did Paios really die?

(Hangs his head and falls silent for a moment.)

Good. Thank you for trying to save him.

Lition tells you that a Reian called Paios is still at Rentus Outpost, and asks you to go there and rescue him.

You find Paios buried under a giant column in the base.

You deal with the column immediately, but Paios was already too weak.

Lition is very saddened when you tell him of Paios’ death.
