[Group] Tragic Reasons is a level 60 Elyos quest in AION Classic 5.0. Complete [Group] Journal of a Traitor first. It opens [Group] An Old Friend. It rewards 30,506 experience and 30,506 kinah.
Story
The offer
Merops was very private, very introverted.
Having this kind of insight into his mind is rare. But in this case, it's vital.
Did you find the other half of the scroll?
- "I think so..."
Journal
How much did Merops tell the Balaur? Find the Torn Scroll Piece on a Vasharti Mage.
Along the way
Ah, Daeva. How goes the campaign at Rentus Base?
You seem disturbed. Is there anything you wish to say?
- "Please, read this."
Reward
Hmm. I'd known about Merops's children but not about the depths of his despair. He kept his emotions hidden well.
And he doesn't specify how much he told the Balaur. We'll have to find that out ourselves... somehow.
It's grim news, but at least we know it. My thanks to you.
Completion
Oreitia needed the Torn Scroll Piece of Merops's Diary to find out what information he gave to the Balaur... and why.
You found the other half of the scroll, which revealed very personal motives. Still, it only hinted at what secrets he gave away.
