Haorunerk has worked hard for Traders, was on one last mission before well-earned retirement.

Mikurunrunerk was looking forward to seeing him at the retirement party, nyerk, and now this tragic fate...

He must be rescued, right now!

• Accept.
• Decline.

Haorunerk may be tortured by Shulacks! He's old, health not so good, nyerk.

Haorunerk's daughter waiting faithfully for him to return. Bring her dad home, Daeva!

Rabinerk, our spy on the ship, will help you escape. Aion's luck for you, Daeva!

• "I won't let her down!"

(It's Haorunerk, and he's been beaten to death. It seems the Shulacks didn't take too kindly to him helping you escape.)

(You can see a note in his pocket. This might be the last thing he ever wrote.)

• "What did you have to say, my friend?"

(Heavily spattered, only part of the message is legible.)

‘To stop the ship...’

‘Warden Tantaka and Engineer Lahulahu must die...’

‘... report to Rabinerk...’

‘... tell my daughter, Chantinerk... Her father is sorry...’

(Haorunerk helped you to escape. You should show your gratitude by fulfilling his dying wish.)

• "Haorunerk, I won't fail you."

Go to the Steel Rake and rescue Haorunerk from the brig.

Glad to meet you, akakak. You are Daeva who brought news of old Haorunerk, yes?

Mikurunrunerk still asking around about him. He still hasn't returned, nyerk.

• "Perhaps he should be rescued."

Haorunerk...dead? I didn't know...was too busy gathering information...nyerk.

Poor, poor Haorunerk...so close to retirement....

• "I carried out his final wish."

Even in death, Haorunerk thinks of helping Black Cloud.

He is avenged, Daeva. All Black Cloud shall mourn this day.

Mikurunrunerk asked you to rescue Haorunerk, the Shugo who helped you escape from the Steel Rake's brig. You arrived to find him dead, but he left a note explaining how to stop the ship from getting under way. You met up with Rabinerk after carrying out Haorunerk's final mission.
