(A document made of robust paper.)

(The document is written in the Balaur language.)

(Could you have found some valuable piece of intelligence?)

(You’d better ask Scholar Midori about this.)

• "I'll put this away safely."

You discovered a document written in the Balaur language. Ask Midori about this.

I've been hoping for some big discovery, but I guess excavation doesn't really work like that. You've got to be patient.

• "I might have something good..."

Oh, did you find this in the ruins? (Inspects the document more closely.) I don’t think it’s very old.

It is written in the language of the Balaur, although I don’t recognise some of the words. It’s probably in some sort of dialect or slang...

I am pretty certain it was not written by a Balaur. The type of document and quality of the paper suggest that it is from a Shugo.

It looks to me like one of the lists merchants use. Even so, I can’t fathom why it was written in Balaur.

Maybe the Black Cloud Merchants can shed more light on it. You’d best take it to Kohrunerk, somewhere in Reshanta.

• "We'll see."

What you need, Daeva? Kohrunerk is legitimate business-Shugo, nyerk, have done nothing wrong, left no evidence. Akakakak!

• "Tell me about this paper."

Simple Balic code. Easy to decipher. Let's see...Mithril Icon, two boxes Malek, golden Aukwi statue....

Strange, nyerk. Cargo manifest of Black Cloud ship that disappeared months ago. Threw all Traders into disarray--many valuable goods lost.

Could it be...Shulacks...hmm. Show to Micorunerk. Needs to know this quick quick, yes?

• "I'll let him know."

Kinah is only friend Micorunerk has. Or if Daeva has Kinah, Daeva is my friend too, akakak!

• "No Kinah today, only paper."

Not disappeared, hmm, nyerk...attacked...

What are Shulacks up to?

Thank you for bringing this to attention of Black Cloud, Daeva. No reason to concern yourself further, no.

You discovered a document written in the Balaur language in the hidden area in an upper layer fortress.

Midori said this document was written by Shugos, and sent you to the Black Cloud Traders. They told you it contained the items of a shipment they'd lost months ago, thanked you for bringing it to their attention, and said you don't need to concern yourself any further. What's a Shulack, anyway?
