All around me are people with dull eyes and lifeless voices. They drone endlessly about the futility of life and the meaninglessness of the world.

They sound rather like Asmodians to me...

• "I can see their point."

How can you say that? There are so many things to be passionate about!

Take love, for instance. It's endlessly exciting.

• "For some, yes."

I've heard it said that I'm like a burning symbol of passion for life--like a flame that never dies, or a beautiful crimson garnet.

I've always wanted a garnet brooch to show my passion to the world, but I never have the time to leave my post.

Perhaps you could fetch me a garnet and I could arrange to have one made?

• Accept.
• Decline.

You'll find Garnet Ore in Heironopolis or Vaizel's Peak. It's rare, but that's the price of passion.

• "I'll see what I can do."

Sisandra wants a brooch made from a garnet as fiery and passionate as she is.

Have you found that garnet?

• "Here."

This isn't a garnet. A garnet is bright and red and full of life, just like me.

Take a good look at my smiling face. Bring me a stone that looks like that.

• "Your face...got it."

Such a passionate, fiery red! It's like the pure reflection of my passionate soul.

Take this as payment for your trouble. Stop by sometime later, and I'd love to show you the finished brooch!

Sisandra said she wanted a jewel as fiery and passionate as her--the fabled garnet. She had no time to find one herself, so you brought it to her.
