Arieluma, Daeva. I see you have Kromede's Flame. Been a long time since I've seen that. I can introduce you to a Shugo merchant around here who might swap you some Kinah for it. Or....

You can melt it down and compound it with the Staff of the Judge to make one very strong, very potent weapon.

• "What staff now?"

The Staff of the Judge. You'll need to get it first. You'll need three things, actually.

The first is Kromede's Flame, which luckily you already have. The second is a skilled and accomplished blacksmith...and that would be me, the legendary Ukon.

And the third and final item you'll need is the Staff of the Judge. But you'll need to pry it from its current owner's hands.

• Accept.
• Decline.

No need to thank me, Daeva. I have the easy part in this transaction. You, on the other hand, have the hard part: getting the staff.

You'll have to take it from Kromede the Corrupt at the Fire Temple in Asmodae. And she won't be too thrilled to see it go.

• "She's Asmodian. I'd expect nothing less."

If you can get the Staff of the Judge, Ukon said he would refine it for you with Kromede's Flame.

I never said it would be a breeze to get the Staff of the Judge, Daeva. But you seem to be all right.

Now, hand over the staff and Kromede's Flame, and I'll get my anvil warmed up.

• "Here's everything you need."

You have some...concern about my skills, Daeva?

I practically invented the art of blacksmithing, and you're going to stand there and tell me you're not sure?

Just come to me with the Staff of the Judge and Kromede's Flame in your Cube, and I'll show you why there will be a statue of my likeness in Sanctum one day!

• "Your ego deserves a statue."

Sweet Lady Ariel! That was a lot of work! But I have finished what I said I would do.

Here, take your Kromede's Staff. Just as I had promised...stronger than ever. If anyone asks, tell them the legendary Ukon made it for you.

Once you got the Staff of the Judge, Ukon said he would strengthen it for you with Kromede's Flame.

Fortunately for you, the legendary Ukon kept his word and made you the reinforced Kromede's Staff.
