Luck and Persistence is a level 50 Asmodian quest in AION Classic 5.0. Complete Proving Proficiency first. It opens Loyalty and Affableness. It rewards 5,390,338 experience.
Story
The offer
Hmm...we'll see about that. This next test will challenge your persistence.
- Accept.
- Decline.
When Atreia split in two, the light of Aion dispersed through the word in small, glittering fragments. It's said they bring luck to whoever finds them, so they've come to be known as the Light of Luck.
They're incredibly hard to find. Most people would consider themselves fortunate to even glimpse one in their lifetime.
You'll have to collect twenty. Speak with Master Latatsuk and he'll tell you how to obtain them.
- "On my way."
Azphelumbra. What brings you here?
- "I'm here about the Light of Luck."
Yes... perhaps the most challenging test of the Fenris Fangs. Even extraction masters consider themselves truly blessed to find the Light of Luck.
If you want to collect it, you'll need a special tool. Relir can rent you one, but it's a delicate piece of equipment. It'll cost dearly.
- "Not a problem."
Journal
For the test of persistence, collect the Light of Luck and bring it to Latatusk.
Along the way
Azphelumbra, Daeva. We're almost at the final stage. The tests so far may have seemed difficult, but they're nothing compared to what's to come.
- "Whatever's next, I can handle it."
I overheard your conversation. You want to rent an extraction tool, yes?
- "I do."
The Light of Luck is just that--light, so if you want to handle it, you'll need to process it with this tool first.
It's an extrememly delicate piece of equipment, and it's the only one of its kind in all Asmodae, so the rental price will be three-point-four million Kinah.
- "Do you want to count this?"
- "I don't have that much!"
Nobody knows for certain where the Light of Luck appears. You will need to search all over Atreia.
Though the quest may seem fruitless, you mustn't give up. This is a test of persistence, after all.
Soar in Azphel's shadow.
- "And you."
Ah...you don't have enough Kinah. I'm afraid I can't give it to you for free. What if you break it?
- "Fine, I see your point."
That golden light of hope--do you bring it?
- "Aion's glory is in my hands."
Have you come to be purified again?
- "You know me so well."
I wouldn't want you to offend Kvasir's sense of cleanliness. Kneel down before me and open your heart to Aion's glory.
- "I'm ready now."
- "Not just yet!"
You don't have it, do you? The Pure Holy Water?
- "Oops!"
It's been a long time since I've seen you last. Everybody's speculating where you've gone.
I'm sure this last test took you all over Atreia.
- "It's finally completed."
Reward
Ah, the glory of Aion. It's been decades since I've gazed into the lamp...
Aion's power will strengthen your armour. Congratulations. You're nearly a Fang.
Completion
The next test was one of persistence. You had to travel all across Atreia to find the rare Light of Luck.
