You're not going to have much luck shaking the Piece of Aegis in some voodoo ritual to empower your weapon.

No, you need a real craftsman.

• "I took some crafting lessons in Sanctum."

There is only one Daeva who can handle a Piece of Aegis.

You want an weak mace? You want your mace and Aegis to break--craaaack!--during the combining process? Then don't go see Anusis, and certainly don't bring him 8,000,000 Kinah.

• Accept.
• Decline.

Anusis and I worked together in the Artisans Hall in Sanctum.

We designed a lot of powerful pieces in those days, and also learned a lot about precision. He made me this hair pin, and I made him a number of brooches with blue gemstones.

He probably doesn't wear them anymore.

• "I'll say 'arieluma' for you."

Laestrygos gave you a Piece of Aegis and said Anusis in Sanctum could combine it with Laestrygos's Mace.

Whatever it is, be specific and brief.

Lighterica are going on in ten minutes.

• "Laestrygos gave me this Piece of Aegis..."

A Piece of Aegis AND a message from Laestry? This is better than Lighterica.

Mmmm, look at that gorgeous mace. Laestrygos always had an eye for detail. He made me these brooches, you know. I bet he doesn't wear the crude hair pin I made him anymore....

Enough reminiscing! You want the mace and the Aegis merged, you give me 8,000,000 Kinah. Up front. If you think that's too expensive, go find someone else.

• "Please, take my money. I just want a weapon!"
• "That's a bit steep for me."

Out of my shop! When you're serious, come back with all three things--Piece of Aegis, Laestrygos's Mace, and 8 mil.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a concert to catch.

• "Lighterica are sooooooo shinyrific."

Most craftsmen can go fifty mortal lifetimes before seeing an Piece of Aegis. Wow. Look at the colours. If you just reach out and.... Oh! Oh! Hello there, Piece of Aegis.

Let me just close my eyes and commune. Mmmmmm. It's in my soul. I can practically feel the vibrations right down to my....oh, yeah....

And here's Laestry's Mace. It feels just like...oh...just like him...ahhh! So, Daeva, what do you think of your new mace? Do you like it?

Laestrygos gave you a Piece of Aegis and said Anusis in Sanctum could combine it with Laestrygos's Mace.

When you met Anusis in Sanctum, he imbued your mace with the power of the Piece of Aegis for a higher-performing weapon.
