I hear there were living sacrifices made at the Altar of Avarice. The Temple of Scales...I dunno. My guess is that's where they did actual worship.

In fact, I've got a couple of friends who're really near both places....practically in sight! They'd help you out if I asked them.

Should I?

• Accept.
• Decline.

You're going to love them, brightie.

You just take this package to Totus, and he'll be thrilled to see you. And take this other package to Sulinia.

Why are you so surprised? Were you going to go empty-handed?

• "I should've known."

Deliver packages that Meiria gave you to Totus and Sulinia.

You! You must be crazy to walk around here alone when even Guardians--which you are not--get captured by the Balaur.

Hurry back to the Illusion Fortress and the Aetheric Field.

• "First, the mail!"

That explains it. Meiria found a crazy runner.

I don't know what she told you, but you should leave if you're done here. I'd like to read these official documents in relative peace.

• "Back to the Aetheric Field!"

Daeva! I've been expecting you.

Please give me the books from Pilomenes.

• "How did you know why I was here?"

Would you mind waiting a moment?

I need these to finish up my latest article on Balaur kinship patterns. I'd love to send it today.

• "I can wait."

Thank you for your patience. Would you mind delivering my article to Pilomenes at the Inggison Illusion Fortress?

Please make sure to explain that the delay was related to the package, not to my work ethic, and that I look forward to his comments.

• "Walk in the light."

Comrade! Welcome back to the fortress.

• "Sulinia sends her regards...and this."

This is twice now that a package sent through Meiria took too long to arrive.

I will let it go, but if this happens a third time, I will go see Centurion Secundila. Please tell Meiria this.

• "I'll let her know."

You've come back so quickly, brightie. What happened? I thought you'd like it out there.

Did you meet the people I told you about? You delivered the stuff to them, right?

• "Pilomenes says he'll report you..."

Why that dirt-crawling shard! How dare he threaten me?

Thank you for telling me, Daeva. Centurion Secundila is strict, and her confidence in me will not waver because of some silly scientists!

Meiria said she would introduce you to some people at the Temple of Scales.

When you said you would go, she gave you two packages and asked you to deliver them to Totus and Sulinia.

Sulinia was upset that the package arrived so late and asked you to deliver her report to Pilomenes. Pilomenes, in turn, got angry and said he'd report Meiria to Centurion Secundila for laziness if this happened again.
