Daeva, I called you here quickly because this is a mission of great import.

You must know everything about what’s happening with Dark Poeta, right?

Those rotten Balaur have been misusing the power of time, gleaned from Siel’s Relic, and are attacking Poeta.

• You nod.

Unfortunately, we have no idea when Tiamat was first able to use the power of time as freely as she has been.

It must have been awful to see Poeta in that twisted version of the future.

Poeta overrun by Balaur... We cannot let it get that far!

Luckily, we can prevent it this time. But we mustn’t rely on us being able to succeed next time.

That’s why we need to do something about Siel’s Relic.

• ‘Siel’s Relic...’

Order: An urgent mission is waiting for you. Go and see Lavirintos.

We have no other choice but to retrieve Siel’s Relic from Tiamat’s grasp.

That’s why I’ve sent troops out into the Abyss. They’ve already carefully scouted out the Tiamat Legion.

They found something a little while ago.

They discovered some sort of facility in the Abyss that apparently belongs to the Tiamat Legion.

We’re hoping to find some clues about Siel’s Relic there.

• You ask about the facility and about the clues.

That’s what we’re going to try to find out.

That’s why I came to you.

It’s not easy to find someone who is both trustworthy, and capable enough to investigate a Balaur facility.

It won’t be an easy mission. Will you accept, and go to the Abyss?

If you choose to accept the mission, you’ll need to go talk to Information Officer Rentia in the Teminon Fortress.

• You say you’ll accept the mission.

Welcome, Daeva.

I received Lavirintos’ message and have been waiting for you.

I take it you already know we’ve found a Tiamat Legion facility?

It looks like we’ve found some sort of laboratory. So we may have found a secret lab of theirs.

• ‘Sealed off?’

That’s right. We don’t know what happened there, but it’s been deliberately locked tight.

Siel’s Relic might have something to do with why.

Daeva, you need to enter the lab and search it. Gather as much information as you can.

Well, then. Let me know when you are ready.

You can enter the lab using one of the temporary entrances we opened up when we found the place.

• You enter the Locked Tiarkh Testing Lab.

(A Premetrometer, used to save and edit information.)

(Take a look at it and see what information it has on the laboratory.)

• You take a look at the device.

(It looks like it only has the ability to access external records.)

(If you try to access a video using this device you should be able to see any remaining information.)

• You feed a video into the device.

(It looks like some secret documents the Tiamat Legion were disposing of before they shut down the lab.)

(They must contain important information.)

(Maybe there’s still something readable on here. Something they didn’t manage to burn to ash.)

• You look through the scraps of paper.

(It’s a console unit that was used to save and edit the laboratory’s important research.)

(The majority of what was saved here seems to have disappeared.)

(It can still read external records, if you can find some.)

(If you try to access a video using this device you should be able to see any remaining information.)

• You feed a video into the device.

(Luckily, the area isn’t affected by any temporal anomalies.)

(It looks like this is the only way out that you can safely use right now.)

• You run off.

You’re back.

Did you find out anything?

Was there more information about Siel’s Relic there?

• You bring him up to speed.

I didn’t think there would be such important information there.

The people in the lab performed biological experiments using Siel’s Relic, and when those were successful, they used its power to open the Dark Poeta.

(A contemplative silence reigns.)

• You wait for Rentia.

So it’s all down to the fact that Tiamat could use the power of time, which is so strong that you can use it to open the Dark Poeta.

If the Siel’s Relic is already alive, then we have a big problem.

We have to deal with this immediately.

We have to get Siel’s Relic back as quickly as possible.

Daeva, this is an important opportunity. Please take the demolition order as proof to Governor Michalis and make your report to him.

• You end the conversation.

Someone told me there was an urgent report.

We should discuss this thoroughly.

• You present the demolition order as proof and give your report.

So that’s why the Dark Poeta appeared.

As long as Tiamat has Siel’s Relic, something like this could happen again. That’s the thing I’m most worried about.

Getting that relic back has to be our top priority.

We have to do everything we can to find where that relic is.

Lavirintos, the Commander of the Holy Templars of Sanctum, tells you that something has to be done about Siel’s Relic, which is what caused the Dark Poeta.

He asks you to go into the Abyss, where he has found a hidden Tiamat Legion facility.

You do as Lavirintos asks and head to the Teminon Fortress, meet Information Officer Rentia, and then enter the Locked Tiarkh Testing Lab.

You search the lab and find out what happened there by reading a demolition order, and watching the footage in a series of videos.

You discover that the people in the lab performed biological experiments to try to transfer power from Siel’s Relic.

The experiments were successful in bringing Siel’s Relic to life. That’s how Tiamat was able to use the power of time as much as she wanted to.

Tiamat used the power to develop a stable path in time that lead to Poeta.

So this lab is where the Dark Poeta originally came into being.

But using the power of time caused temporal anomalies to appear all over the lab. So Siel’s Relic was taken away and hidden somewhere, and the Tiarkh Testing Lab was closed.

On your return you explain what you have learned to Rentia and Governor Michalis. You make sure to let them know that this is an emergency situation, and that Siel’s Relic needs to be recovered as soon as possible.
