Long have I admired the Asmodian's endless capacity for courage and curiosity. But then, we must have both to walk fate's path.

The road of destiny is full of treacherous cliffs and shrouded forks, waiting to swallow the weak and unwary.

While the Asmodian treads on without hestitation, the Elyos shrink back from even acknowledging fate's truth. That is why they are weak.

• "Wise words."

But their arrogance doesn’t prevent them recognising how weak they are.

So they continue to act up.

Kaisinel’s minion Veille in particular is arrogant and insolent right now.

Are you going to let her get away with that, Daeva with the glowing eyes?

• "She is a fool."

If the future of the Asmodians is dear to you, do not hesitate and kill Veille.

Kill Veille with your outstanding abilities. If you are successful, I’ll give you my insignia.

Once you’ve collected enough insignias to prove your abilities, you’ll receive a suitable reward.

Do you want to take the challenge?

• Accept.
• Decline.

I knew you would accept. Your name has reached even my ears, after all. You are destined to do great things for Asmodae.

Go! Even now, Veille's foul presence is being felt. She must not be allowed to harm even one fellow Daeva.

In the name of fate! For Asmodae!

• "For the Shedim Lords!"

Destroy Veille, Kaisinel's agent, and bring the symbol of your triumph to Mastarius.

I've been expecting you, Daeva. I understand you are undertaking great deeds on Lord Marchutan's behalf.

I urge you to continue to do so. Nevertheless, I hope you remembered your promise to me.

If you have fought evil without fear, show me the proof.

• "I have. Here is the proof."

Hrm. It seems you have underestimated the scope of the task. Such misjudgment could mean your premature end, if you're not careful.

The Elyos must be sent running from our might. It will take a good deal more effort on your part.

I know you are not a coward. Do not prove me wrong. Eliminate Veille whenever she dares to appear.

• "She will fall by my hand!"

Ah, excellent. Lord Marchutan will hear your name from my own lips, singing your praises for your service.

You have walked the path destiny gave you, unhesitatingly and with strength of conviction.

For that, you deserve an appropriate reward. Take this, and wear it in Lord Marchutan's name.

Mastarius wishes to prove the superiority of Asmodae's chosen path by bringing down Kaisinel's agent Veille.

You did battle with her, collecting favours in the process. You showed them to Mastarius, who rewarded you with a strong piece of armour.
