They sometimes call this island the ‘Grave of Claws’ because of that massive, wrecked machine there.

Nobody knows who built it or when, but it is certainly ancient.

There’s a legend that says it once walked these islands, smiting anything it came across.

I thought it was a fallen statue, but I’ve had second thoughts now that I’ve studied the Petraliths.

• "Go on, I'm curious."

Looking more closely, I found light-emitting cores set into its body parts, the Petralith’s Shoulder, Petralith’s Heart, and Petralith’s Hand.

Those cores are also emitting massive Aetheric pulses now. I doubt that was happening before.

I guess the Petralith was dormant before, but it’s reactivated now.

Setting aside why it’s started now, I’m sure we could study those cores and learn some very useful tricks.

Daeva, would you collect them for me?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Collect the Shoulder Core, Petralith Heart Core, and Hand Core, and take them to Fjuedil in Pandaemonium.

He’s not just the Airship Dock manager. He’s also one of the foremost engineers of Aether-powered devices.

In essence, all our airships move by Aether power, and he’s spent his whole life learning them inside and out.

I am sure that he can figure out how these cores work and how to tap their abilities.

• "Sounds good."

Radgrid discovered Aetheric cores in the body of the Petralith, pulsating with energy. Remove a core from each body part and take them to Fjuedil in Pandaemonium.

Azphelumbra.

If you're picking up cargo, I'm not your guy. Go get Kamorunerk.

I just direct the take-off and landing of airships, not their cargo.

• "Actually, I have something for you."

No, I need more than this junk to learn anything.

Go back to the Grave of Claws and search for the Petralith’s Shoulder, Petralith’s Heart, and Petralith’s Hand.

That’s where the cores are. Those are what I need.

I will wait for you.

• "I'm gonna wear out my wings..."

Ah, are they from the Petralith in Reshanta?

Njord and Radgrid said they were sending me some powerful Aetheric gadgets that I could probably develop into weapons.

Hmm... Even at a glance, these are unusual.

Okay, I’m not really the expert, but I’ll do my best not to let them down.

Radgrid discovered shining cores that blast Aetheric waves in the shoulder, heart and wings of the Petralith. He believes that with research, they could be turned into awesome weapons.

He had you take the Petralith cores and deliver them to Fjuedil in Pandaemonium. Fjuedil, an authority on Aether power, is now studying and learning from them.
