I can't abide these filthy Gryphus! Wheeling about, screeching their hideous chatter--it's more than I can bear.

They swooped down, pecked at us, and tore open our packages. Then they flew off with our provisions. It's been days since we've eaten.

• "Do you need help?"

Yes! Yes, I need nothing more!

We've been trying to get to the Miraju's Holy Ground. Before you came by, I feared we would starve to death up here.

Please...all we need is sustenance, nothing fancy. I don't expect spiced delicacies, just some life-giving food.

• Accept.
• Decline.

You have saved us, Daeva. The Abex and Gryphus living nearby shouldn't be too hard to catch, and their meat is tough but highly nourishing.

If you could bring us 3 pieces of Abex Hock Meat and 5 pieces of Gryphu Breast Meat, I'm certain we'd have the strength to carry on.

I'll get started on making a fire while you hunt the animals.

• "I'll be quick."

Pilgrim Dronoa lost his supplies to the Gryphus and was starving. Hunt some Ferocious Gryphus and Mountain Abex, and bring their meat to Dronoa.

Ah...there you are at last. I had almost given up hope.

Forgive me...I'm too weak to greet you properly. Did you...?

• "Here, eat this."

What is this? You have returned just to gloat?

Or...perhaps it's the hunger, playing tricks on me. Perhaps there never was a Daeva...you're just another Gryphu, aren't you?

Please, oh great Gryphu, fetch me the meat of your brothers and sisters. And while you're at it, you could bring some fresh Abex too.

• "I'll, uh...be right back."

You've brought it...this is no mirage! I can feel it, smell it!

Daeva, I don't know how to thank you. Without your help...without your generosity...

Take this. It's all we have.

The Gryphus stole food from Pilgrim Dronoa, leaving him starving and bereft of hope. You hunted the nearby Abex and Gryphus and brought their meat to him and his wife.
