Eltnen hosts many mysteries.

There's the vast Underground Temple, its purpose still unknown, and its artefacts.

That's not all. There are its creatures. If you have seen a Klaw, you may understand what I mean.

• "Uh...what do you mean?"

Unlike most crustaceans, the Klaw are unnervingly smart.

I often sense a purpose behind their movements, a kind of collective intelligence.

I doubt they're simple beasts, and that's what worries me.

• "So, they're...what, intelligent?"

They have started raiding our outpost, but they seem to pounce the moment we lower our guard, during meals or shift changes.

They're certainly clever enough to be a nuisance.

I'd be obliged if you'd go chase them away.

• Accept.
• Decline.

Right, there are Klaw Workers and Klaw Gatherers. If you start killing them, I think they'll get the hint.

Don't worry about finding them. Klaws are almost everywhere in the Western Eracus Desert.

After finishing your mission, report to Tellarius. I left the Klaw matter in his hands. He will give you whatever else you need.

• "Let's crack some crabs!"

Defeat the Klaw Workers and Gatherers who raid the Golden Bough Garrison.

Ah, it's you.

Brigade General Castor told me he sent you after the Klaw.

Your report, please.

• "I chased them off."

Good! We'll have an evening's peace, at last.

Thank you, my friend.

This was supposed to be a temporary posting, so we're always short of men. It's good you're here.

Klaw Workers and Gatherers often raid the Golden Bough Garrison, disrupting its mission.

After you defeated the Klaws, you reported to Tellarius, who was excited to have your help.
