Excellent, Daeva! I've heard of your reputation as a Daeva, but you are every bit as accomplished with your handicrafts.

You do know that we occasionally make sacred items that are devoted to the Shedim Lords? I just thought I'd mention it. Not for any particular reason, of course. Just slipping it casually into conversation.

Oh, while I've got you, could you do me a favour?

• "Possibly. What is it?"

I've had an urgent message from Fraiban in the Abyss. He's in urgent need of Salix Staff Handles. Again.

Either the Salix Staff is the current must-have fashion accoutrement in the Abyss...or the war is going badly, and we're using up weapons faster than ever. I don't think we need to ask which, do we?

I can't send just anyone on a job like this. It has to be someone who can handle the Abyss. Would you deliver the package, Daeva?

• Accept.
• Decline.

I knew you wouldn't let me down. Here, take this.

I've bundled up the Salix Staff Handles that Fraiban asked for.

He did sound fairly desperate. Please deliver it as soon as you possibly can.

• "On my way."

Deliver the Salix staff handle that Lanse gave you to weapon merchant Fraiban in the Abyss.

You're a Daeva. I'm not sure whether I have a weapon suitable for you, Daeva.

Pandaemonium has been diligent about sending me weapons, but when demand outstrips supply, what is a merchant to do?

• "I'm delivering, not buying."

I knew it! Lanse is always so reliable!

Completely useless in a fight, of course, but very good when up against a lump of wood, armed only with a chisel...

Ah, please don't tell her I said that. Take this. It's a reward for your trouble.

Lanse asked you if you could deliver an urgent package to weapon merchant Fraiban in the Primum Landing.

When you delivered the package that Lanse gave you to Fraiban, he thanked and rewarded you.
