This is ridiculous. My pool of soldiers is shrinking, and our mission here keeps expanding!

When we found the Lepharist Bastion, I put them under surveillance. But our Sentinel never reported in.

Lemia and I went out to find him nearly dead, hiding in the Kuriullu Mountain foothills.

• "Yustiel's hand!"

Yeah! Hours later, he'd have died. En route to the Fortress, he told me he was ambushed by a flock of Viragos.

He said there was nowhere to watch the Bastion without stumbling into Virago roosts.

To track the Lepharists, those furies have to go, but that'd take too many men!

• "I can take them."

Uh, Daeva, these are really deadly beasts, and they travel in flocks.

My Sentinel's trained here for months, and they ate him alive! You've been here, what, days?

I really doubt you can wipe out the Virago Sentinels.

• Accept.
• Decline.

Okay, okay. Go straight up to Kuriullu Mountain from here. You'll know Virago Sentinels when you see them. Human head, carrion bird's body.

And bring me five Virago Tail Feathers. Oh, uh...I trust you, but I, aah, want proof to show my superiors!

• "Proof, eh?"

The Lepharist Bastion is protected by Viragos, flocking the Kuriullu Mountain cliffs. Kill the Virago Sentinels. Collect their Tail Feathers as evidence for Leone.

Long time no see. What brings you here?

Whoah, what am I thinking? You went out looking for Viragos!

Don't tell me you...you did it?

• "I honour my word."

Uh, did you forget?

I told you, I want Virago Tail Feathers as evidence.

You're not making this up, are you, Daeva?

• "You'll eat those words."

Such rich emerald colouring! Definitely a Virago Tail Feather.

I owe you an apology, Daeva. You meet a lot of headstrong idiots in the desert. I've grown sceptical.

You're a real hero.

Leone's scout Sentinel was mauled by Viragos while spying on the Lepharist Bastion.

You offered to eliminate Kuriullu Mountain's Virago Sentinels.

Leone assumed you were bragging. When you brought a fistful of bloody Virago Tail Feathers, she apologised and called you a real hero.
