Humans need water, Shugos need water, and this desert needs water.

But water is tricky. Not hard to find, no, but hard to move. So heavy to carry around.

• "What are you driving at?"

Brirunyerk has a solution. A very clever solution.

You see those water spirits, frolicking around like children in pool?

• "Yes."

Inside them is Spring Water Essence, concentrated water - more water in smaller space, and lighter.

A man could live for days on a single drop and never go thirsty, and a Shugo... even longer, yes?

Brirunyerk could give them to Elyos... to help out. If only I could kill the Springwater Spirits.

Now you, Daeva - you are so... so strong. Will you kill them?

• "Accept."
• "Decline."

You have done business with Shugos before, great Daeva? Then you know we are always honest, akakak.

Bring five Spring Water Essence back here. That should be enough to start....

• "Okay."

Help Brirunyerk obtain Spring Water Essence from water spirits.

Ah, did you bring the essence?

Did you see, did you see how light it was to carry?

• "Here's what I have...."

Oh, no Spring Water Essence, nyerk.

Do not be so mean to tease me, great Daeva.

• "I apologise."

Yes, look how it shines in the light. And it tastes so clean and pure. This will sell quite well, I think.

Don't look at Brirunyerk like that, akakak! I will only sell it for enough to cover expenses.

Brirunyerk's heart is pure like yours, nyerk.

Brirunyerk wanted to obtain Spring Water Essence, but was too weak to defeat the water spirits.

To help him, you defeated Springwater Spirits and gave him their Essence.
