Ganimerk is a Shugo we hired as a spy among the Black Cloud Merchants, but recently we lost contact with him.

His last message indicated he was going to the Mau region in Asmodae to collect information. But, given what we know about him, we're a little worried.

We need to find him as soon as possible. For our protection, not for his. If the Asmodians buy him out, he would betray us for money.

• Accept.
• Decline.

Thank you! Head to Mist Mane Village in Morheim right now and find Ganimerk.

Be aware, the Mau are hostile to the Asmodians, but that doesn't mean they are friendly to us.

Use the Rift near the Kaidan Headquarters to get to Asmodae.

• "As is my duty."

You are from Elysea, nyerk. To rescue me?

Thank you, Daeva. From now on, I will never go near a Mau again.

• "They are fierce indeed."

Look for Ganimerk of the Black Cloud Merchants, who is working as a paid spy in Asmodae.

To win the war, we will use all the weapons available to us.

We have to make whatever allies we can, no matter whether or not we like them. Anything to get the job done.

• "Allies like...?"

The Shugos, for instance. The Shugos have various groups and tribes. We can sometimes play them off of each other.

The Black Cloud Merchants are particularly interesting. They seem to know a lot of things beyond Elysea. Which leads me to Ganimerk.

• "Ganimerk?"

Don't bother me unless you have good news. Managing our Asmodae infiltrators is complicated work.

Contacts within the same region send information completely contradictory information, and I have to wonder who's playing who.

Anyway, did you find Ganimerk, and was he alive?

• "He is alive and back to his work."

I knew it! Complete waste of time being captured by the Mau.

It wasn't a useful place to uncover important information, so why was he there in the first place? Probably he was lying about the information, just looking to profit.

Good job. You've been a great help to us, Daeva.

Valerius had made an infiltrator of Ganimerk, a Shugo from the Black Cloud Merchants.

He had lost contact with Ganimerk, who was spying on the Mau in Asmodae. You went to Asmodae, found Ganimerk and rescued him.
