Let’s talk about your reward. Did Laestrygos’s Greatsword, which I gave you last time, come in handy?

If you successfully complete this mission, I will ask Sanctum’s Craftmaster Anusis to exchange the weapon for an even better one.

The agent has given us special instructions in this regard.

As I’m sure you can imagine, the mission is to kill the Guardian Generals of the Asmodians and Balaur at Vorgaltem Citadel and Crimson Temple.

• Accept.
• Decline.

Fierce battles rage in both the Vorgaltem Citadel and the Crimson Temple, and the situation can only get worse.

Veille believes we must reclaim those places now. You must go. Go to the Citadel and the Temple. Rid us of the vile Guardian Generals.

We'll discuss the advanced version of Laestrygos's Greatsword when you return.

• "I look forward to our chat."

Kill the Guardian Generals at the enemy fortresses, and Laestrygos will enhance your greatsword.

Good, good. You've arrived. Kaisinel's Agent Veille recommended you to me. She said she could not have turned back the dark ones without your help.

So she wants me to give you an important new mission, Daeva.

If I say, "Vorgaltem Citadel" and "Crimson Temple," you can guess the mission, yes?

• "Whoa, whoa, whoa. I don't do guesses."

With the Vorgaltem Citadel and the Crimson Temple back in our possession, perhaps there will be peace in our time.

• "I sooo killed those guys you sent me for."

Effective Daeva! Agent Veille knew you would do well.

Now, where is the sword I gave you last time? If you don't have Laestrygos's Greatsword, then I cannot improve it for you and there can be no reward.

• "A job well done is all the reward I need."

But why...?

Why don't you hand me Laestrygos's Greatsword so that I can make it even better?

Don't you have it?

• "I'd like to get one. What do I need to do?"

Here it is, your great reward. A Piece of Aegis.

Have you heard of it?

If you put the energy from a Piece of Aegis into a weapon, the weapon is transformed. For your work at Vorgaltem and Crimson, please take this gift.

Laestrygos promised to put amazing power into the greatsword he gave you before...if you killed the Asmodian Guardian Generals at the Vorgaltem Citadel and the Crimson Temple.

When you returned to him in triumph, he gave you a Piece of Aegis to enhance the weapon's performance.
