Let’s talk about your reward. Did Laestrygos’s Staff, which I gave you last time, come in handy?

If you successfully complete this mission, I will ask Sanctum’s Craftmaster Anusis to exchange the weapon for an even better one.

The agent has given us special instructions in this regard.

As I’m sure you can imagine, the mission is to kill the Guardian Generals of the Asmodians and Balaur at Vorgaltem Citadel and Crimson Temple.

• Accept.
• Decline.

Here's what you do. Head out to the Vorgaltem Citadel and the Crimson Temple, and help Agent Veille reclaim them.

What's a Guardian General to a Daeva like you, yes?

• "You're right! I can take 'em!"

Laestrygos asked you to kill the enemy fortresses' Guardian Generals. He offered to upgrade Laestrygos's Staff if you are successful.

Oh, sun-drenched day!

And, lo, here is Daeva. Hello, Daeva!

Kaisinel's Agent Veille has an important mission for you.

• "She does?"

Whee! We'll get back Vorgaltem and Crimson, and maybe there will be peace on Atreia. Someday.

• "I've got part one of that covered."

I thought I heard your victorious wing-beats!

But...where is Laestrygos's Staff? I can only reward you if you have it.

• "What? Where do I get one?"

I thought I heard your victorious wing-beats!

But...where is Laestrygos's Staff? I can only reward you if you have it.

• "That's just shady, L. Too cruel."

I thought I heard your victorious wing-beats! Good job.

And now I can give you the best thing in my store: a Piece of Aegis!

This baby can enhance the power of your staff like you wouldn't believe.

Laestrygos delivered Agent Veille's request: kill the enemy Guardian Generals occupying the Vorgaltem Citadel and the Crimson Temple.

When you returned triumphant, he gave you a Piece of Aegis to enhance your Laestrygos's Staff.
