(Glowing letters appear on the scroll.)

(‘Make sure the Elyos don’t get in our way.’)

(‘Kill Kaisinel’s faithful servant Veille.’)

(‘Make her tremble with fear and despair.’)

(‘Fundin will help you.’)

(The glowing letters disappear.)

• "Down with the Elyos!"

Back already? Come for more lessons in battle with Fundin the Fearless?

Well, I'll be happy to demonstrate some basic combat techniques that will surely help you become maybe half as great as I!

Hmm, why the serious face?

• "Lord Marchutan's orders."

Kill Veille?

Are you Lord Marchutan’s new agent? You have achieved incredible feats.

But Veille is Kaisinel’s Agent. Kaisinel has blessed her personally, making her incredibly strong.

We made it beyond the gate but failed to get past Veille and couldn’t advance any further.

But perhaps you can do it!

If you want to go to the Inggison Outpost, you have to pass through the gate protecting the Elyos. Veille will greet you outside the outpost.

The Elyos will try to stop you with all their might. I’m eager to see whether you can complete this impossible task.

• "Watch me, 'Fundin the Fearless'."

A new order has appeared on the Shining Scroll. Listen to Fundin’s advice in the Temple of Scales.

Y-you're alive, Daeva?

Of course, you retreated with your hide intact! A wise decision for a Daeva of your apprenticeship.

You left Veille alive to be vanquished by Fundin the Fearless, eh? I thank you for your consideration!

• "Actually, she's dead."

W-what did you say?! You...Veille...she.... Impossible!

But...I suppose under the guidance of Fundin the Fearless, anything is possible, even for a lowly Daeva such as yourself!

I'll take the scroll now. I think you've done all Lord Marchutan requires for the time being.

Agent Richelle will want to hear about this. Go to her, and tell her of the heroics of Fundin the Fearless...and a little about you, I suppose.

• "Right.... I'll do that."

Destiny is not a fixed point. It ever moves, and Asmodae must move with it.

While we can trust in Fate's path, we cannot depend on it to move us forward on that path. Only we can ensure that.

I understand you have a report of great import to make.

• "And great joy as well."

I have been informed of Ifran's displacement. His loss is a terrible tragedy, but thanks to you, his duty is done. He may return to the Aether's flow in peace now.

The Elyos are in disarray. Their hold on Inggison is slipping. This tremendous victory would not have been possible without you.

You are a true hero of Asmodae. Lord Marchutan himself asked me to present this weapon to you. Take it, and all the honour that comes with it.

You received an order through the Noble Scroll to eliminate Kaisinel's Agent Veille.

After getting information from Fundin at the Temple of Scales, you went to the Inggison Outpost and vanquished Veille.

Fundin couldn't believe what you did, but sent you to Richelle. She praised your heroism and gave you a weapon passed on from Lord Marchutan himself.
