Blasted sun-addled, egg-sucking, clawless cowards! I’m surrounded by idiots, Daeva!

I ask one of my recruits to do a task, just one little task.

And does he complete it?

Of course not! That would make life in Phanoe Valley just a little too simple!

By Aion’s grace... one of these days I will send all these milksop dimwits back to their mommies and daddies in Pandaemonium and replace them with scarecrows. Then at least I will have guards standing at their posts!

• "Whoa...settle down."

Ugh, I have to wonder if Krizarid has to deal with this kind of nonsense in Gelkmaros. He keeps track of all his kills, and I’m behind by... oh I don’t know, about two or three... thousand. Granted, he’s my older brother, but I’ll never catch up while I’m stationed here as a blasted nanny to a bunch of snivelling children!

Well, what are you still standing there for? If you want to help, I need Serrator Scales to reinforce our armour. If you can’t handle it, then get out of my sight!

• Accept.
• Decline.

Wait... you’re actually helping?

If you do this for me, Daeva, I will be in your debt. I might even be able to get out to the battlefield... snap some twiggy necks or stomp some egg hatchers.

Look around this area for Serrators and bring me their scales.

Particularly the Fierce Serrator... those beasts are weak, but the Elyos and the Balaur are not.

Don’t let the cowards ambush you while you’re out there hunting.

• "I'll be careful."

Do as Hogidin asked and collect Serrator Scales to reinforce the soldiers’ armour.

Ah, Daeva! While you were out, I was able to take a welcome bloodbath! Yes, both Elyos and Balaur fell in droves, their corpses wilted and picked over by carrion and scavengers alike! It was glorious.

Now, don't tell me I took that little respite for nothing.

Where are the scales?

• "Right here."

You don’t have the scales...

I’m going to count down from three...

Three... two...

• "I'm leaving...don't hurt me."

I knew I could count on you, Daeva!

I could almost kiss you... but I’m afraid I haven’t washed my face after that refreshing bloodbath...

You’ll just have to come back... but take this for now.

Hogidin says all of his subordinates are too incompetent to get him the scales he needs to reinforce their armour.

You hunted down nearby Serrators and brought back their scales. Hogidin threatened you with a kiss, but offered a nice reward instead.
