This leather looks strange. It doesn't look like Clodworm Leather at all.

The colour's wrong. Normally there's a red lustre, but this one's bluish.

Are you sure you caught the Black Spotted Clodworm?

• "It's Clodworm leather."

If you insist. I believe you. Still, this is strange. It isn't just the colour. Even the texture is wrong.

Clodworm Leather is smooth and soft, but this is hard and rough. Though, it does have the circular pattern of Clodworms....

I'm confused.

• "I am too."

I hear Agrints have appeared in the Decayed Grove. Maybe they've affected the Clodworms in the Black Tears Swamp.

Too much strangeness around here. I don't know how to deal with this.

Aphesius should be told about this.

• Accept.
• Decline.

Take this leather to Aphesius and tell him where you got it.

He's an expert in ecology and knows what to do with this kind of problem.

This is important. Thank you.

• "Sounds like a plan."

Terentius says Clodworm Leather has become weird and wants Aphesius to know about it. Show the Clodworm Leather to Aphesius and ask for his opinion.

Welcome. What a beautiful day.

I hope you aren't here with a bad news.

I'll deal with it if it is. Can't be worse than an opened Abyss Gate, can it?

• "No, not worse than that."

This is Clodworm Leather? It can't be.

Its colour is wrong and it's too hard for Clodworm Leather.

Senea needs to see this. She's in the Poya Jungle. She'll analyse the leather and tell you what's wrong with it.

• "Okay, the Poya Jungle it is."

I've been up to my ears with things to research.

There's so much to do that nothing ever gets done.

Anyway, what can I do for you?

• "It's this strange Clodworm Leather...."

This is Clodworm Leather?

If it really is, it looks like some sort of mutation.

I can't tell for certain until I analyse it.

Terentius said Clodworm Leather has become weird and asked you to show it to Aphesius. When Aphesius saw the leather, he said the ecologist Senemonea should be informed.

When you showed the leather to Senemonea, she said it looked mutated but needed to study it to be certain.
