I have lived in Gelkmaros for longer than you've probably been alive, young Daeva.

The coming of your people here is the most significant event I've seen since the Cataclysm. I don't know yet if it's enough.

Either way, I've become attuned to the aura and emotions of Balaurea. Something has been disturbing both of late.

• "Disturbing? How?"

Taloc, to be specific. Although he grows in Inggison, he is a beacon of energy that I can sense even from here.

Many Daevas from both your world and your enemy's have been entering his boughs, seeking glory by destroying his parasites.

By intruding so, they upset what little serenity he has left. But I have a plan to stop this, if you could aid me...?

• Accept.
• Decline.

I propose that you eliminate the Insects of Taloc's Boughs. Less prey means fewer hunters, and will lessen Taloc's pain as well.

You are welcome inside Taloc, so you will not disturb him as the others do.

You are doing more good than you know, young Daeva. Remember that as you battle.

• "If you say so."

Eddas is concerned that insects infesting Taloc are attracting unwelcome attention. Eliminate the parasites in Taloc's Boughs.

I feel a blanket of contentment passing over Taloc.

I know it is temporary, but such peace is rare for one such as him.

I take it this is your doing, Daeva?

• "But of course."

I admire your Asmodian tenacity. It will serve you well here in Balaurea.

When I see young Daevas like yourself, I remember the days before the Cataclysm. I regain hope for Atreia's future.

May the Lady of Time bless your future.

Eddas senses that Taloc is becoming disturbed by the many Daevas who intrude in his Boughs to hunt the parasites there.

He asked you to eliminate the insects in Taloc's Boughs in hopes that this would discourage unwelcome visitors.

You hunted down the mutants, and returned to Eddas's praises.
