(Josnack is quietly crying).

• "What's the matter?"

It's Galateia...my beautiful Galateia. She was perfect, flawless.

If she was alive, she would have been my wife. And now she's gone.

• "If she was alive?"

Galateia, you see, was a statue I carved. I chiseled her every feature, every gesture to fit my ideal of beauty.

I fell in love as soon as she was finished. No living woman could compare.

I expected that we would be together forever, immortal Daeva and immortal stone. But now she has disappeared--could you help find her?

• Accept.
• Decline.

It's quite likely that she was spirited away by those horrible Shugos. They're never to be trusted, only tolerated at best.

That Yugorunerk is the shiftiest. There's something about his cast I don't like.

• "I'll see what he has to say."

Galateia is missing. Go track her down.

Akakak, you look angry, Daeva.

• "Have you seen any statues?"

Daeva thinks Yogorunerk is thief, nyerk? Yogorunerk would never steal!

But maybe has seen what you look for. A man comes through yesterday, carrying a heavy package wrapped in white cloth.

Asks Yogorunerk about an inn. Yogorunerk answers Jamanok Inn is only one. Go to inn, ask Gastak if he saw the man.

• "If you're lying to me..."

No vacancies today. Too many customers.

• "You seen a man carrying a package?"

Man came through. Asked about Theobomos Stronghold.

Very nervous. Left yesterday. Maybe Pyrrha saw him.

• "Thank you for the help."

Well, if it isn't my favourite Daeva adventurer. What brings you out here this time?

• "Have you seen a man with a package?"

Yes! He was carrying a heavy package wrapped in white cloth. I tried to warn him it was dangerous in there, but he just walked in.

Who knows what he was planning on doing in there?

Josnack carved a statue so beautiful that he fell in love with it, but it was stolen.

You tracked it down and found out that a man took it into Theobomos Lab.
