Oh, Daeva!

Are you looking for a mission in Inggison?

If so, I’ll give you a particularly easy and well-paid task.

• You keep listening.

A call for help has come from the Angrief Observation Post.

They ask for a capable Daeva to be sent there, but in my eyes you appear least suitable.

Won’t you go?

If you’re interested, go and meet Totus.

Then I must have acted well.

• You end the conversation.

Mission: On behalf of Iaetia you are to settle matters at the Angrief Wastes.

Are you claiming that you came here on the recommendation of Captain Iaetia?

You have been lavishly praised as an outstanding Daeva. Let’s see if you can prove yourself here in Inggison as well.

• You claim to be confident in everything.

We are investigating the rising sulphur in the Angrief Wastes.

I don’t know if that will be enough, but in areas outside the Angrief Wastes there may be locations that release gases over wide areas.

The ground is soaked with acidic vapours and slimy... in any case, quite unpleasant.

Will you be able to help me monitor the situation?

• You nod.

At an eruption site lay two corpses, as if they had assumed a particular condition. Depending on their injuries they could be burnt or acid-corroded; various conditions were possible.

It will be necessary to identify the typical appearance of the altered condition.

Although they will not be easy to find, you might find a Hardened Crater, Soggy Crater, Hot Crater, Dry Crater and so be able to analyse the cause of the phenomena.

Please help me.

• You end the conversation.

When classifying sulphur samples, one must be very cautious... and fight... and write mission reports.

This applies even when eating, sleeping and dressing. As I stand here speaking with you, I am fully aware of what is happening around me.

Now that I have shared my wisdom with you, tell me, have you brought me my samples?

• Here is your sulphur, Master of Wisdom.

Well done, Daeva. You would make an excellent sulphur collector... perhaps even the best in all Inggison! You even smell like one.

If a Daeva like you stood at our side, it would change many things.

But I cannot take full responsibility for the hero’s role! One day I too will be a Daeva in that state and fill the role.

Then we must undertake more varied missions and trials to prove our abilities, mustn’t we?

• You keep listening.

Not far from here is Angrief Drana Farm Hunting Zone. It is a place where the Balaur produce drana to harvest energy.

When I was in Inggison I destroyed many drana farms, but this one lies secluded in a corner, so it has not yet been thoroughly eliminated.

It would be good if you went and dealt with the Angrief Farm Dracunites breeding in the drana farm and even eradicated the Inggison Drana.

By the way, Inggison Drana possesses strong regenerative powers, so it may not be possible to kill it completely.

So how are we supposed to eliminate them? Is that why we couldn’t extract their life energy?

Good, I hand you the essence of life energy; with it you will drive the drana away and bring them here.

• You end the conversation.

Did you carry out the task well?

Did you eliminate the Angrief Farm Dracunites breeding in the drana farm and also deal with the Inggison Drana?

• You give your mission report.

From here I could hear the cries of the Dracunis.

The task was not easy, but that you completed everything without error is a rare and welcome piece of news.

Good, now leave this place and pay a visit to Ingnie.

The situation here is precarious and will worsen further.

• You end the conversation.

Recently a Daeva was known for doing his work particularly well, could you be that one?

Can you help out at the Angrief Observation Post?

• I’ll report on the developments so far.

Hmm, that’s really pleasing.

There is much to do, but it is hard to find a Daeva who does their work well.

That you have come this far is fate, we should get on well.

Iaetia wants you to be introduced to a suitable Daeva and asked me to send you to the Angrief Observation Post.

At the Angrief Observation Post he met Totus and took on the task of collecting samples of the crater types from Angrief. He was also tasked with fighting the Angrief Farm Dracunites and the Dracuni of the Inggison Drana.

Totus was very pleased to be allowed to undertake the task.
