Is Daeva's name Daeva, Daeva? Not seem like a quiet Daeva, nyerk.

But big choice now made. Not much wiggle room.

Habirunerk has something Daeva can maybe help with. Daeva maybe interested?

• "I'm always interested. Go on."

Most essential treasure for Black Cloud Merchants is ledger, nyerk. Notes on power, secrets, who owes Kinah....

Very important, very secret. Not just any Shugo allowed to view, nyerk.

Someone hire spy to steal ledgers, but good news is we caught spy!

• "Well done!"

Bad news is we didn't recover ledgers, nyerk. Traders worried, chief important ledger writing Shugo lost job!

Then super good Shugo spies find ledgers, but there is big hitch, nyerk. Shulacks have them, sort of.

That's why Habirunerk sought Daeva. Daeva has reputation for doing really dangerous dumb stuff for much Kinah, akakakak.

• Accept.
• Decline.

Luckily the ledgers were enchanted. They look like any old books, akakak.

And they are comprised of several volumes, so it’s not so easy to see how they relate.

A stupid Krall Elite Prison Guard won’t even know what they are. We absolutely must get them back before the Shulacks realise the significance of what they stole.

True, Daeva was recommended to Shugo, but as Shugo cannot judge Daeva’s abilities, Shugo will just ask Daeva for 10 volumes at first.

Daeva should get going as quickly as possible. Daeva need only tell Raninerk and Daeva will be sent there, ak!

• "The task is mine!"

Habirunerk said the ledgers that the Traders lost are onboard the Steel Rake. He asked you to go retrieve them.

Daeva bring ledgers? No peeking, yes?

Probably couldn't read them anyway, akakakak. Ledgers locked with magic.

Anyway, Daeva hand over ledgers now please please?

• "You've done a lot of business."

Daeva can't count to ten? Same number of books as claws, akakakak!

Not counting feet, of course.

Back! Go back!

• "Right. Books and claws."

Same ratty pages, same stained covers! Daeva brought correct ledgers!

Of course, Habirunerk will take to Captain Payrinrinerk, so don't worry.

Habirunerk give Daeva more money for good work. Many claws worth!

Habirunerk confirmed that the trading ledgers containing the Black Cloud Traders' business information are in the hands of a Krall guard aboard the Steel Rake.

You went on board the Steel Rake and retrieved the Traders' ledgers. Habirunerk expressed his gratitude and rewarded you.
