Ah, the box looks sound. Let's hope the items fared as well from the water.

Shards! Balaur take you, you Shade-cursed knuckle-dragging--

• "Hey!"

Ah, not you, Daeva. It's the supplies, they're that rusted with all the seawater. I couldn't cut up a Qooqoo with even one of them.

These won't do, but Lantis told me there are Ancient Swords and Ancient Shields lying all over the Patema Ruins. The Abyss War raged hot there, and the battlefield still holds its treasure. They would serve the purpose until new items could be shipped or made.

Would you be willing, Daeva, to help the fleet and bring back some swords and shields? I'd reward you handsomely for the work.

• Accept.
• Decline.

I admit, paying you this much galls me, but I'm that desperate to get it done. Don't let the Spectres or Ghosts get you, and bring back 3 Ancient Swords and 3 Ancient Shields. Aion watch over you, friend.

• "I'll return, Ekseus."

The supplies you found were ruined, so Ekseus asked you to retrieve ancient swords and shields from the Patema Ruins.

Ah, there you are. I've been waiting to see what you might find. Were the shields and swords there as Lantis said, or was he blowing smoke up my porthole? Let's see it, now.

• "Here you are, as promised."

You didn't find them? Did you not go, or did Lantis lie to me? If he did...well, I won't be held responsible for my actions.

Will you be so kind as to look again, before I'm brought up on charges for murdering a fellow soldier?

• "Er...sure. I'll be back soon."

Will you look at these! Beautiful, even after lying on the cold ground for so long. They're sharp too.

Yes, these will do nicely. Perhaps even set the fashion back in Sanctum, aye?

Here, take this and my thanks. Faith and arms, friend.

When Ekseus opened the Supply Box from the sea, the weapons and armour were ruined by the seawater. He asked you to go find the ancient arms and armour from the Patema Ruins in hopes of using them instead. When you retrieved the swords and shields, he thanked you and gave you a reward.
