Daeva, just this once.

Can you help me again?

I’m led to believe that Samael is still being held in Tartarus.

• ‘Impossible... Samael already returned to the flow of aether.’

Something has gone massively wrong.

The Tiamat Legion wanted to create an army in Tartarus that could withstand the destructive energy of time.

That destroyed my body.

Samael must also have suffered from the effects of temporal turbulence; she was forced to endure so many temporal experiments on her mind and body.

It breaks my heart to think of how Samael was so tortured by the Balaur, without being allowed to die...!

Would you please travel to Tartarus and search for Samael at the Wall of Lament?

Please help her to find the peace she deserves.

Thank you very, very much.

Nobody can help me and Samael now, Daeva, not even my superiors are interested.

I will repay my debt to you if it is the last thing I do.

• ‘Sounds like a plan.’

Go to the Doomed Samael at the Wall of Lament in Tartarus and help her to find peace again.

I’ve been waiting for your return.

Did you manage to... release Samael?

Was she still in Tartarus?

• ‘Samael is still...’

*sob*... Samael...!

So it’s true...

She is still bound in that hellhole!

*sob* I shall find a way to free you from the prison of time!

Arbon said that Samael was still being held at the Wall of Lament in Tartarus.

He requested that you help Samael. She has been subjected to the Tiamat Legion’s temporal experiments and must suffer agonising pain without being allowed to die.

You fulfilled Arbon’s request and travelled to the Wall of Lament in Tartarus, where you ensured that Samael could find peace. But you were unable to completely release the chains of time which held Samael transfixed.

You returned and told Arbon the terrible news. He averred that he would find a way to free Samael from her temporal bondage.
