How these devils are getting in is beyond me.

All the entrances and exits to the fortress are securely in our hand.

It’s like a curse...

• "Then there's more than one entrance."

I’m worried about the Kysis Chamber, target of all evil thoughts.

It’s becoming a pain that the Balaur keep showing up here because of the treasure.

We don’t know how they get in, so we are unable to drive them out permanently... All we can do is put up rewards for their defeat and keep fighting them.

How about it? Do you want to help us?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Thanks.

Make your way to the Kysis Chamber and defeat the Balaur there. The Balaur there seem to be led by Ebonlord Nukuam. Kill him, and kill the others.

It’s easier said than done, but that’s what the big reward is for!

If you’re quick about it, you’ll secure even more treasure chests.

Faith and arms, soldier!

• "Faith and arms."

Carry out Paean’s request and kill the Balaur in the Kysis Chamber.

We've sent teams specifically to find portals in there you know--and nothing. If the Balaur have discovered or perfected a new mode of transportation, then the implications are truly terrifying.

Did you do all that you were asked, Daeva? Did you manage to find out how the Balaur were reinforcing their troops?

• "No, but they're all dead."

Well, that's a start. I'll have to send in a team and see if they can find out where they're coming from.

Thank you, Daeva. Take this reward, and remember to come back whenever you can. I'm sure we'll have more work for you!

Paean offered you a mission to kill the Balaur stationed in the Kysis Chamber.

You accepted and went to the Fortress, eliminating the Balaur including their leader, Ebonlord Nukuam. On your return, Paean rewarded you and asked you to help him again whenever possible.
