How do you like Teva?

The Black Cloud Merchants settled early in Teva and established this base.

This is all thanks to the clever and surprisingly capable Runanerk.

• You keep listening.

So, would you like to be accompanied here to Teva?

You, Daeva, investigated Teva and pursued Tiamat, didn’t you?

Runanerk does not intend to hinder your mission.

Carry out the mission as frugally as possible. Should anything appear during your investigation – and it being the best – give that exact thing to Runanerk.

• You keep listening.

Note: Give Runanerk the valuable object you found while investigating the anomalies in Teva.

What do you think? Pretty reasonable, right? Runanerk hates complicated things, truly.

Then simply complete your mission in Teva.

Our top investigators report that there are suspicious places in Teva.

The Lake of Tears, Karst of Desperation, Craggy Heart. Those are the places. Wouldn’t it be good to investigate such spots more closely?

• You end the conversation.

(When you touch the page, your body twitches and you have a revelation.)

(It seems the manuscript can only be opened by the right person, at the right place, at the right time.)

• Open the document.

(When the document was opened, one could discern Tiamat’s fate in the proper future, even before Tiamat rewound time.)

(At the bottom edge of the document the date and time of the day when Tiamat’s end occurred are recorded.)

(It refers to a point in time that seems far in the past, yet denotes an event that has not yet occurred.)

(As you read on, the book records the story of how Tiamat tried to escape fate.)

Tiamat obtains Siel’s Relic.

Tiamat confirms her future fate.

Tiamat creates Dark Poeta through a time-reversal experiment.

Tiamat succeeds in bringing Siel’s Relic to life.

Tiamat creates multiple versions of Siel’s Relic.

…

…

Tiamat succeeds in distorting time in Tiamaranta.

Tiamat creates a new space-time in Teva.

(While reading the book I found other stories as well.)

Daeva becomes a Daeva.

Daeva advances into Balaurea.

Daeva is assigned to a campaign to pursue Tiamat.

…

…

Daeva arrives in Teva and meets Sienola.

Daeva is guided to the right time.

(When you regain consciousness, you are holding something.)

(It appears to be a time-navigation device that supposedly always leads to the correct time.)

(It feels as if you’ve just taken a long bath.)

• Close the book.

Daeva, you have returned!

That some of the equipment was missing and you therefore did not return completely explains a lot!

So, have you investigated Teva and achieved any results?

Did Daeva get anything of particular value for Runanerk?

• Hand over the time compass.

Ririt! It’s a very old and dirty compass, but Runanerk is an elite Shugo who has been trained to be a merchant since childhood. Runanerk can recognise the value of this item, nyerk!

It’s said that with this, no matter how distorted time is, one can return to the correct time.

For this, Runanerk is very grateful!

From now on, Runanerk and the Runar will definitely bring the Daevas and their companions back. That’s for sure, promised!

In return for bringing them to Teva, Runanerk demanded of the Daevas that they bring her the most precious thing they discovered while investigating Teva.

While investigating the anomalies in various locations in Teva, she fell into a Tiamat’s time trap.

In a desperate situation, she found herself transported somewhere, perhaps through third-party interference, and there discovered an old manuscript.

The discovered manuscript contained an exact time indication; through this she learned of Tiamat’s position and the future that would occur at that time.

While she read the manuscript, Sienola appeared; she said that when standing at a crossroads, one must make a decision, and then disappeared.

After she had read the manuscript completely, she found a time compass in her hand, said to guide her to the correct timeline.

When she conveyed the compass to Runanerk, the latter thanked her for the precious gift and promised to bring the Daevas to the right place, whatever happened.
