There are strange... energies in the Deathsong Forest.

I walked out there... to learn more... and I found a strange... substance.

It tasted... like fertiliser... but like no fertiliser I’ve ever... tasted before.

• "Interesting...."

We should ask...Trajanus for advice. He is the wisest...perhaps he knows...what this substance is.

• Accept.
• Decline.

I believe this may be what...is creating the Rotrons...but I could not say for sure.

• "Trajanus will know, I hope."

Find out what the strange substance in the Deathsong Forest is.

Yes...this substance is...strange. Strange and...dangerous.

• "Could it be creating the Rotrons?"

That is...my suspicion. But what...or who...is causing this?

Trou...is knowledgeable in things that I...am not.

Perhaps he...would have an idea.

• "I'll confer with him."

Blessings of Aion upon you.

• "What do you make of this substance?"

If it is artificial, it could be the work of the Lepharist heretics.

A Sentinel named Aiokina passed through here. She said she was being assigned to a post watching the Lepharists in the jungle.

If they're up to something, she should be told.

• "I'll tell her."

Hail. Have you business here?

• "The Lepharists are up to something."

Well, of course they're up to something. That's plain to anyone with a lick of sense.

This is the first I've heard about them being involved with the Rotrons, though. Thanks for the tip--I'll look into it.

Terba wanted you to ask Trajanus what the strange substance he'd discovered in the Deathsong Forest was, and whether it was connected to the Rotrons. Trajanus had you talk to Trou.

Trou said that if an artificial substance caused Elim to become Rotrons, it was probably connected to the Lepharists. He referred you to Aiokina, a Sentinel tracking Lepharists in the jungle.
