Wait, wait a minute! This doesn't add up! This Phelos perfectly matches the description of the man I'm hunting, Kelaino.

He stole a chalice from some temple offerings, threw Sanctum into utter confusion.

See, the chalice was going to Empyrean Lord Vaizel! They put a huge price on him!

• "Yeah, I'd bet!"

These two descriptions, plus the timing! Phelos was in Sanctum right when Kelaino stole the chalice. Yeah, this is one guy!

This job, you meet all kinds, but this guy Kelaino is slick!

I'm lusting after the reward money, but I can't loosen up these Shugos.

• "Loosen...Shugos?"

I know Kelaino came here as a laborer, but the Shugos 'round here won't talk to me!

Won't answer questions, and if I walk by a conversation, they dry right up! Even the shopkeepers.

They like you, though. Can you check with Gojirunerk about the guy?

• Accept.
• Decline.

I apprehended a guy a few days ago who says he worked with Kelaino until recently.

Not surprised they came here. There's no law to speak of in Theobomos.

Gojirunerk knows something. Get him to talk.

• "I can do that."

The thief Phelos, who you followed from Sanctum, is actually named Kelaino. Ask Crios the bounty hunter for leads.

You like him or something? That Daeva, Crios? Bounty Hunter, he says. Ha! I think he's spying.

I did research. He was a Daeva of Zephyr once!

He's spying on the excavator's union!

• "Nope, he's hunting a former worker."

Ah, Kelaino! Lazy fellow, of course I know him! He incited the labourers here! Wanted pay raises, big trouble with Yadamonerk.

But I don't know where he is. He disappeared, like a lot of the Human losers working here.

It's why we don't pay in advance, nyerk nyerk. Anything else, ask Hecuba. They were friends.

• "Thanks, friend. See you!"

You! Talking with that Crios guy, right? I thought he was my type at first, but he's a jerk, especially around women.

He comes up to me on break, looks me up and down and says, "How'd you wind up here? My bet is you're either a pickpocket or a failed con artist!"

Flamin' shards, who says stuff like that? Picking on me, an innocent woman with rotten luck!

• "I'm just looking for Kelaino."

Ah, Kelaino! He's great! Good looking, fun, generous... He never said, but I think he's on the run.

Probably a jewel thief or something. Only here a week, then went off with some explorer types.

He offered to take me, but I'm not crazy! They went up Revenge Valley. Me, get eaten by a Virago? No chance!

• "That's what I needed. Thanks!"

You ask Gojirunerk?

If he says he saw nothing, he's lying.

Got to figure how to crack him. Can't kneecap him...Shugos don't have knees...

• "So, MY way got results."

Aion's stump! Revenge Valley?

Place is full of Viragos. That changes things. Flock of those can kill a Daeva!

Need to think this over....

Hearing your description of Phelos, Crios said Kelaino, a thief he was after, might be the same person. Crios tracked Kelaino to the excavations, but lost the trail because local Shugos distrust him.

Gojirunerk and Hecuba happily told you that Kelaino is hunting treasure in Revenge Valley, where Crios can't venture alone.
