Thanks to you, our investigators have advanced deep into the Abyssal Splinter.

They also brought something else.

Exactly right, samples of the Huge Aether Fragments.

• "Did they find anything?"

Well, there was the Huge Aether Fragment that your nastier opponents have been guarding.

But we expected that.

We didn’t expect the Huge Aether Fragments down there.

And no one’s quite sure what role they play... yet.

I’d like to send you on a fact-finding mission, Daeva.

• Accept.
• Decline.

Until you’ve disposed of the protectors, you won’t get near the Huge Aether Fragments.

So deal with them first, and then destroy the fragments.

Our investigators will do the rest.

Don’t worry, Daeva, the investigators are taking samples, not smashing things to smithereens.

• "In that case, I'll go."

In the Abyssal Splinter, destroy the Huge Aether Fragments and the powerful Artefact Protectors who guard them.

Our investigators made some interesting reports.

What happened when you destroyed the Huge Aether Fragments?

I’d like to hear your thoughts about your latest mission.

• "The protectors freaked over the fragments."

That matches the report of the investigators.

When we destroy the Huge Aether Fragments, it destabilises the Aether flow.

That puts the Artefact Protectors of the Abyssal Splinter on edge.

We’ll investigate the secrets of the Abyssal Splinter.

As long as our goal is the artefact, we can leave those Huge Aether Fragments intact.

No need to make Artefact Protectors angry!

Take this reward for everything you’ve done in uncovering the mysteries of the Abyssal Splinter, Daeva.

Aratus’ investigators were researching the Huge Aether Fragments at the Abyssal Splinter. At his request, you destroyed them – for samples.

When you did so, the Artefact Protectors screamed with rage.

Your report convinced Aratus that you should leave the Huge Aether Fragments alone.
