What did Gaurinerk say? Let me guess…

He probably claimed it was all my fault.

I trade with Gaurinerk so I can concentrate on armoursmithing.

I don’t trust the Shugos completely. But it’s still better than wasting time on sales and contracts.

• "So by sending you cheap materials..."

Exactly. Cheap materials, higher profit. And these materials have been getting worse and worse. Sagirunerk claims they're sourced locally, but they're not.

Everything round here is saturated with Aether. Genuine Verteron Starcrabs have a gleam to their shells. The ones Gaurinerk sent are dirty yellow...like diseased bone. See?

• "You have a point."

Hey there, Daeva! Can you help me?

We need proof to teach the centurion about Gaurinerk’s shrewd business sense. We need samples that we can compare to the new materials.

Daeva, please collect Starcrab Carapace and Starturtle Shell as proof and take them to Hyacinte.

I would like to talk to Hyacinte myself, but it’s not so easy for a merchant like me just to meet with a centurion.

• Accept.
• Decline.

Thank you.

You’ll find Sharphorn Starcrab outside the fortress and Swamp Starturtle by the water.

Kill then, collect the Starcrab Carapace and Starturtle Shell and take them to the centurion.

When he compares the two, he’ll realise that Gaurinerk is lying.

You’d better get going now!

• "I'm not sure..."

Nadaelo said he wanted to tell Hyacinte about Gaurinerk’s scam. Gather materials near the fortress and take them to Hyacinte so that he can compare them with Gaurinerk’s materials.

There you are.

What did Gaurinerk say?

So, why the delay of over two weeks?

• "Here, look at these."

Haven't you been to see Sagirunerk yet?

I heard that Nadaelo is furious with him for some reason. You'd better go and sort it out.

We need to launch our attack in the Tursin Outpost soon, and I'm not taking my Guardians into battle in the rag-tag stuff they're wearing now.

• "On my way."

Oh, these are really materials that Gaurinerk provided?

Then the rumours that the Shugos are only interested in Kinah are true.

Without Nadaelo’s help, I would still be getting swindled. I won’t trade with Gaurinerk again in future; I’ll go directly to Nadaelo.

That was a tough job. Take this as a token of my gratitude.

Nadaelo said he was unable to craft armour because the materials Gaurinerk delivered weren’t suitable.

So you procured Starcrab Carapaces and Starturtle Shells near Verteron Citadel for Nadaelo and presented them to the centurion along with the materials from Gaurinerk.

Hyacinte recognised the huge difference in the quality of the goods and decided to trade directly with Nadaelo.
