Our local Guardians whine about theirs all the time. Too old, too ragged, doesn't fit properly... I know, I know--soldiers complaining about their kit, what else is new?

But the fact is, they're right. By now, most of them are wearing pieces someone else died in. That's bad for morale. I ordered more, but it hasn't arrived yet.

• "What's the delay?"

I placed the order to purchase the armour with Trade Broker Gaurinerk.

The Shugos are usually trustworthy traders. Their goods are always of good quality, so we’ve been trading with them for years.

But this time we’re already two weeks past the delivery date, and I still haven’t heard anything.

• "No wonder the Guardians are complaining."

Nothing like this has ever happened before. We must have a problem.

Could you go to Gaurinerk and find out what’s wrong?

See this, Daeva? This is armour made in the traditional Verteron style--Starturtle Shell and Starcrab Carapace on the outside, dense padding on the inside. You won't get through that with an ordinary blade.

This set's not for sale, I'm afraid. I would make more, but I've got no decent materials.

The Shugos keep pushing cracked shells and shoddy carapaces on me, pressuring me to work with them. There's nothing to be made from that junk, though.

Hyacinte ordered new armour from the Trade Broker Gaurinerk as he was worried that his mercenaries would lose their desire to fight in their old armour.

The agreed delivery date had already passed without any sign of it. You were therefore asked to pay Gaurinerk a visit and ask why.
