Hm, it seems you have brought the memory crystal.

At first I thought it was a Balaur tactical manual, but on closer inspection it contains far more important information.

It seems that the locations of the Balaur monuments are indicated within it.

And these monuments apparently exist everywhere, for example in the Inggison Gravepit.

• You keep listening.

The Balaur monuments are memorials erected to honour the Balaur, their followers and their deeds.

When examined, the monuments reveal the history of the Balaur and indicate the locations they control, but this can be dangerous.

But I am such a weak wanderer... With my two feeble arms I cannot drive off the dragons that guard the towers and cannot begin the investigation.

Could you investigate the Five Dragon Lords Monuments in the depths of Inggison, make a rubbing of them and bring them to me?

• You end the conversation.

Task: Help Pilomenes with his Balaur research.

You’ve come back safe and sound!

I was beginning to worry.

• Hand over the rubbing of the Five Dragon Lords Monuments and the Atlas of Refuge.

Huh... hm...

That is truly remarkable.

Where did you even get that?

• The followers who guard the monument are said to be gathered around the high priest like a swarm.

A high priest of the dragon-worshippers... that somehow makes sense.

You have brought me something very fine. It has awakened a scholar’s curiosity in me after a long time.

You’ve really gone to a lot of trouble!

Pilomenes said the records on the Balaur memory crystals were not a simple war manual, but a log that revealed the locations of the Dragon Lord Monuments.

He added that the Five Dragon Lords Monuments lie in the Inggison Gravepit and that he wanted a rubbing of the Dragon Lord Monument.

You created a rubbing of the Five Dragon Lords Monuments, defeated the guardians, and thereby obtained the Atlas of Refuge.

Pilomenes, who had seen the rubbing and the Atlas of Refuge, was very pleased and said it would be of great use to his research.
