Thanks for coming so quickly, Daeva.

We have an important mission for you.

Are you aware of the situation at the Dark Poeta?

The Tiamat Legion has been misusing the power of time that they got from Siel’s Relic, and are attacking Elysea’s Poeta.

• You nod.

Unfortunately, we have no idea when Tiamat was first able to use the power of time as freely as she has been.

It was a shock to see Poeta in that twisted version of the future.

It’s awful that Atreia is being oppressed by the Balaur, even if it is an Elysian territory.

We might as well be talking about Ishalgen in Asmodae right now.

We cannot ignore this temporal threat, by which I mean Siel’s Relic.

• ‘Siel’s Relic...’

Order: An urgent mission is waiting for you. Go and see Kvasir.

We have to retrieve Siel’s Relic.

We’ve been spying on the Balaur in the Abyss to try and find out where it is. I just received a very strange report back on the matter.

They’ve discovered a secret facility that we’re pretty sure belongs to the Tiamat Legion.

It’s likely we’ll find some clue to lead us to Siel’s Relic there.

• You ask about the facility and about the clues.

That’s exactly why we asked you to come here... So you can find out for us.

It’s not easy to find someone capable enough to search through an important Balaur facility, you know.

I know this won’t be an easy mission, but will you accept it?

If you want to accept the mission, go and talk to Abyss envoy Konto in the Primum Fortress.

• You say you’ll accept the mission.

There you are, Daeva.

I received Kvasir’s message and have been waiting for you.

I take it you already know we’ve found a Tiamat Legion facility?

Someone has carefully sealed the place off, but it looks like we’ve come across an incredibly important secret laboratory.

• ‘Sealed off?’

Yes. We don’t know what happened there, but the facility has been deliberately sealed.

We think it’s very likely that it will have something to do with Siel’s Relic.

Daeva, you need to enter the lab and search it. Gather as much information as you can.

Well, then. Make your preparations.

You can enter the lab using one of the temporary entrances we opened up when we found the place.

• You enter the Locked Tiarkh Testing Lab.

(A replacement control unit, used to save and edit information.)

(Take a look at it and see what information it has on the laboratory.)

• You take a look at the device.

(It looks like it only has the ability to access external records.)

(If you try to access a recorder using this device, you should be able to see any left over information.)

• You plug the recorder into the slot.

(It looks like some secret documents the Tiamat Legion were disposing of before they shut down the lab.)

(They must contain important information.)

(Maybe there’s still something readable on here. Something they didn’t manage to burn to ash.)

• You look through the pile of papers.

(It’s a console unit that was used to save and edit the laboratory’s core research.)

(The majority of what was saved here seems to have disappeared.)

(It can still read external logs, if you can find some.)

(If you try to access a recorder using this device, you should be able to see any left over information.)

• You plug the recorder into the slot.

(Luckily, the area isn’t affected by any temporal anomalies.)

(It looks like this is the only way out that you can safely use right now.)

• You run off.

You’re back safe and sound. How fortunate!

How did it go? Did you find out anything?

Did you find out anything else about Siel’s Relic?

• You bring him up to speed.

I’ll just summarise what you’ve found out, Daeva.

The people in the lab performed biological experiments using Siel’s Relic, and when those were successful, the result was that the Dark Poeta opened.

I always thought the relic would be behind all this somehow, but this is worse than I thought.

(He stares speechlessly at the ground for a moment, in shock.)

• You wait for Konto.

So it’s all down to the fact that Tiamat could use the power of time, which is so strong that you can use it to open the Dark Poeta.

If Siel’s Relic is already alive, then this is an emergency.

If we can’t find this relic... no, this living being, and fast, then all our lives are in danger.

Daeva, as it’s so important, I will have you report in person.

Take the document with you as proof, and tell Governor Votan what you’ve learned.

• You end the conversation.

Someone told me there was an urgent report.

What’s this about?

• You present the demolition order as proof and give your report.

So the Dark Poeta appeared due to...

Damn it. As long as Tiamat has Siel’s Relic, something like this could happen to the Asmodians.

We have to get that relic back as quickly as possible.

We have to do everything we can to find where that relic is.

Kvasir, the Captain of Pandaemonium, tells you that something has to be done about Siel’s Relic, which is what caused Dark Poeta to come into being.

He asks you to go into the Abyss, where he has found a hidden Tiamat Legion facility.

You do as Kvasir asks and head to the Teminon Fortress, meet Abyss envoy Konto, and then enter the Locked Tiarkh Testing Lab.

You search the lab and find out what happened there by reading the Demolition Instructions, and watching the footage on a recorder you find.

You discover that the people in the lab performed biological experiments to try to transfer power from Siel’s Relic.

The experiments were successful in bringing Siel’s Relic to life. That’s how Tiamat was able to use the power of time as much as she wanted to.

Tiamat used the power to develop a stable path in time that lead to Poeta.

So this lab is where the Dark Poeta originally came into being.

But using the power of time caused temporal anomalies to appear all over the lab. So Siel’s Relic was taken away and hidden somewhere, and the Tiarkh Testing Lab was closed.

On your return you explain what you have learned to Konto and Governor Votan. You make sure to let them know that this is an emergency situation, and that Siel’s Relic needs to be recovered as soon as possible.
