It's your own fault for being too good at what you do, and you know it.

Your new mission, should you choose to accept it rather than take that vacation, is to kill the enemy Guardian Generals occupying places that ought to be ours.

I'm sure that Laestrygos's Orb will be helpful, yes?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Agent Veille trusts that you can help her reclaim the Vorgaltem Citadel and the Crimson Temple.

She wants you to join the battles there, kill off the Guardian Generals, and be home in time to take on her next mission.

Tell you what. If you do this one, I'll make that Laestrygos's Orb even more powerful.

• "I'd hate to let her down."

Laestrygos asked you to kill the enemy Guardian Generals occupying fortresses. He offered to upgrade your Laestrygos's Orb if you were successful.

Kaisinel's Agent Veille believes your help has been instrumental.

You know what the reward is for being noticed by Veille?

• "Shards! I wanted a vacation!"

You've returned to me so soon! Running from Agent Veille's regard, yes?

• "I've completed her mission, actually."

Where is your Laestrygos's Orb?

Without the orb, there is no reward, not that Veille promised you a reward....

• "Where do I get an orb, Laestrygos?"

Where is your Laestrygos's Orb?

Without the orb, there is no reward, not that Veille promised you a reward....

• "Shards! You're a shady trickster, Daeva."

Where is your Laestrygos's Orb? Yes, yes, beautiful.

You see this? It's a Piece of Aegis. Its energy can transform your orb into something even greater.

I love giving rewards to the weary. Makes all that work worthwhile, doesn't it?

Laestrygos delivered Agent Veille's request: kill the enemy Guardian Generals occupying the Vorgaltem Citadel and the Crimson Temple.

When you returned triumphant, he gave you a Piece of Aegis to enhance your Laestrygos's Orb.
