We’ll have to get to the highest point in the area if we want to find the girl.

But let’s keep exploring the southern shore before we climb the hill.

• You say you’ve understood.

Oh yes, there’s an Obelisk here too.

Set the Obelisk as your landing site before starting.

• You ask what an Obelisk is.

You’re looking for the girl.

If we bind our souls to an Obelisk, we might be revived here if anything happens to us.

Perhaps it won’t work, but you never know.

• You say you’ve never used Obelisks.

Yes, yes you have, countless times already. You just can’t remember.

Trust me and try it.

• You say you’ve understood.

Take a look around the shore.

Report back if you find anything.

• You say you’ve understood.

(Whose backpack is this?)

(There’s a letter inside. Maybe there’ll be something in it that could help me look for the girl.)

• You read the letter.

Hi Granny, it’s me! It feels like I became a Daeva only yesterday, but I’ve already finished my initial training and have my first assignment ahead of me.

The centurion is always hammering into us that anything can happen in a real battle, but I’m not afraid.

Because I have your talisman with me.

Once I’ve finished the assignment, I’ll come and visit you.

Please look after your health...

(The letter is torn down the middle.)

• You pocket the letter.

Maybe this backpack belongs to the girl we’re looking for.

It looks like she was kidnapped during her first assignment, regrettably.

• You ask about the kidnapping.

The captain... no... we were all kidna... uh, no, nothing.

Let’s go and quickly inspect the next crossroads too.

You’ve found a backpack that seems to belong to the girl. There’s a letter in the backpack that the girl wrote to her grandmother.
